Professional Dry Cleaning in Jasper
Your "dry clean only" garments deserve expert care. We handle everything from everyday business wear to delicate formal attire with precision and care.
What Is Dry Cleaning, Anyway?
Good question. Dry cleaning uses specialized solvents instead of water to clean garments that can't handle traditional washing. No shrinking, no warping, no colors bleeding—just clean, fresh clothes.
At Tlc Cleaners, we use professional-grade dry cleaning equipment and processes that have been refined over years of service. Your garments go through multiple stages: inspection, pre-treatment, machine cleaning, finishing, and quality control.
And no, "dry cleaning" doesn't mean your clothes come back crispy. Modern dry cleaning is gentle, effective, and leaves fabrics soft and fresh-smelling.

The Dry Cleaning Process
What actually happens to your clothes when you drop them off? Here's the inside look at our process.
Check-In & Tagging
Every garment gets a unique tag. We note any stains, damage, or special instructions you provide. Your clothes are tracked throughout the entire process.
Pre-Inspection
We examine each item under special lighting to identify stains, missing buttons, tears, or other issues. We address concerns before cleaning begins.
Pre-Treatment & Cleaning
Stains get pre-treated with appropriate solutions. Then garments go into our professional dry cleaning machines with the right solvent for their fabric type.
Finishing & Pressing
After cleaning, each item is pressed and finished using professional equipment. We don't use shortcuts—every piece gets proper attention.
Quality Check & Packaging
Final inspection before packaging. Garments are hung or folded carefully, then bagged in breathable covers—not plastic that traps moisture.
Common Questions About Dry Cleaning
We hear these questions all the time. Here are some straight answers.
Generally, suits can be worn 3-4 times between cleanings unless they've been exposed to smoke, food, or heavy sweating. However, pants tend to need cleaning more often than jackets since they absorb more oils and dirt. Rotation is your friend—having 2-3 suits in your closet that you cycle through extends the time between cleanings and extends the life of your garments.
We have a high success rate with stain removal, but no cleaner can guarantee 100% removal of all stains—especially ones that have set in for weeks or months, or those involving bleach damage. The earlier you bring in a stained garment, the better your chances. Some stains (rust, bleach spots, sun damage) are permanent by nature of the fabric damage, but we'll always try our best.
Spot cleaning treats specific stains without cleaning the entire garment—great for a coffee spill on a otherwise clean shirt. Dry cleaning cleans the whole garment, which is necessary when garments are generally dirty, have body oils, or have multiple stains. Some garments require full dry cleaning even with one spot because the cleaning process will otherwise leave a ring or water mark.
Absolutely. We clean silk regularly, including silk ties, blouses, and dresses. For beaded or embellished items, we inspect each one carefully and use methods that protect the beads and sequins. Very delicate vintage pieces or those with loose embellishments are evaluated individually, and we'll let you know if there are any concerns before proceeding.
Our standard turnaround is 2-3 business days. However, we offer same-day service for most items if you need them quickly—just ask when you drop off (a rush fee may apply). Wedding gowns and large items like comforters typically require 3-5 days due to their specialized processing requirements.
